My name is Kelli, and I’m a Spanish teacher in rural Louisiana. My primary goal since moving from teaching full time at a university to being a high school instructor in a small town has been to combat ethnocentrism and aid in the development of a global perspective. Small-town students deserve big opportunities, so I work with EF Tours to take students abroad every year. During my summers and breaks, I travel with my husband Jeff and our three kids and bring back materials for my students. Learning is lifelong, and all the world is a classroom, going beyond the school walls.
